Lukis Mackie
Accomplished Government Project Manager and Engineer Lukis MacKie
Lukis MacKie spent more than two decades with the Department of Defense as an engineer and analyst. He held multiple leadership positions, including his position as Deputy Chief of the department’s Systems Engineering Branch. This role necessitated the oversight of multiple segments comprising a $20 billion satellite system. Lukis MacKie also served as a senior systems engineer and project manager at multiple Department of Defense locations, including facilities in Honolulu, Hawaii, Los Angeles, California, and Tokyo, Japan. He earned numerous accolades, including the Defense Intelligence Agency Analytical Team Award for Excellence.
Lukis MacKie graduated magna cum laude from the Massasoit Community College HVAC technology program. He subsequently graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, with a mechanical engineering degree and a minor in nuclear engineering. He earned his master of science in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Apart from his professional activities, Lukis MacKie trains in mixed martial arts. He also spends time studying foreign governments and weapons of mass destruction, and emerging technologies, such as self-driving vehicles.
